FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

Q-Guard, our newest product, developed by our specialists to fulfill the role of protection of offices and negotiations. The device transmits low power radio signals, cutting-off communications between end devices (handy, NIC, etc) and central units (base station, router, etc). Ordering the equipment, the user has to select 4 bands from the listed frequencies in which he would like to use the Q-Guard. This disabler does not interfere with any communications except the selected ones within the quiet zone and naturaly does not interfere with communications outside the regulated area. The system utilizes a unique transmission method that confuses the receiving circuits of end devices as if no central unit was within the service area. Upon activating Q-Guard, all devices within the selected zone and frequency bands will indicate "NO SERVICE" (in case of cellulars) or "NO SIGNAL" (in case of wLAN or BlueTooth). Consequently, all communications already in progress within the defined area will be cut-off and the wireless link will be lost. In case of cellulars/BlueTooth, when activated, incoming calls are handled as if the cellular handset was switched OFF and calls may be routed into a voice mailbox. When Q-Guard is turned off, all devices will automatically reestablish communications with their network in a few seconds and provide the same services were available before entering the protected zone.

Installation and Operation

Q-Guard installation and operation are simple and straightforward, even somebody with non professional technical experience will be able to do it. The easy to use controls enable quick calibration of coverage area and selection of frequency bands. The Q-Guard will not expose the persons in the room in which it is installed to any health hazards. The total amount of RF energy in the room is considerably lower then the radiation to which the user of a regular cellular telephone is exposed when using a cellular phone close to his head.
